Literacy and Books
Global education research shows, literacy is the key to quality education and is pivotal in setting a child up for progressive learning with advanced materials. In order to support children’s education, youth development, and literacy we strive to provide books to households within the communities we serve. Studies indicate children that grow up having books in the home are often 3 reading levels ahead of their peers who did not grow up having books in the home. We strive to provide all types of books including early readers, literary books of all genres and age levels, as well as research text such as dictionaries and thesaurus.
Your gift of books encourages literacy for families in impoverished parts of the world, that now have the opportunity to read books with their children.
