Women's Empowerment Fund
By providing young girls and women with equal opportunities and protection from exploitation, there is optimism for a brighter future.
Poverty, cultural practices, violence, and weak infrastructure are all global threats creating barriers to women’s education and advancement. When women and girls are able to access education and resources, research shows they lead happier lives and have higher earning potential. Women’s empowerment has a greater impact on the overall economic development of their communities, as educated girls tend to marry later, learn the necessary skills to compete in the labor force, are better able to provide for their families and encourage education and literacy among their children and younger generations.
