Children with Disabilities Fund
There are over 1billion individuals with disabilities around the world, most of whom are children. Whether their disability stems from birth, disease or injury, these children face the harshest rejection and marginalization from society. In developing countries, many disabled children often experience complete abandonment by their families due to cultural stigmas placed on individuals with disabilities, or because of the financial hardships caring for a disabled child places on families already struggling from poverty.
We believe all children should be able to live to their fullest potential, and no child should be left feeling lonely, isolated or excluded.
Your support helps provide parents and caretakers with the following resources:
- Crutches and wheelchairs
- Access to education, including transportation
- Vocational training and mentoring
- Community inclusion and participation in local support programs
